Venues I have worked at:

This may seem like a slightly random post, when the website was redone this information was moved and so i have added it here.

Venues and Locations

It has been a pleasure to work with so many venues and suppliers both in Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Powys and surrounding areas, as well as further afield in the Uk and increasingly more the odd flurry abroad. It is not possible for me to include every event I have ever attended but would like to list just a few Venues with whom I have worked and in many cases continue to work with. This list is not extensive by any means as many a locations may only be used for the one event, such as homes, farms and one off location weddings. Please do not worry if you are looking for wedding photographer and the venue you have chosen does not appear as I always relish the opportunity to work in new locations, and would in this case always meet you there first if applicable or pay a visit myself.

A few posts and information from 2012

Lisa and Luke got married at The Guildhall, Poole, Dorset, and then took a steam train from Corf castle to the venue just outside  Swanage at Harmons cross.

The wedding of Charlotte and Rob took place at Gorsley Baptist Church followed by an intimate reception at Homme House, Much Marcle, Herefordshire.

Charlotte and Rob were married at St Marys Church, Burford, Tenbury Wells, Wordestershire. The couple were then taken to the marquee at Brimfield, Shropshire in a vintage VW Beetle, while the bridesmaids went in a vintage VW camper van.

Following the wedding of Holly and Richard at St James' Church, Hereford they enjoyed a reception at Hellens Manor, Much Marcle, Herefordhsire.

The wedding of Claire and David took place at the lovely Whitney Court, Whitney-on-Wye, Herefordshire. Claire wore a gown from Satin & Silk, Hereford. Although the english summer lived up to expectations, the wedding party enjoyed a relaxed fate themed day. Attention had been paid to ever little detail, with bunting, jam for the favours and the flowers paid a big part towards setting the sceen from The Real Cut FLower Gardn, Clifford. The guests enjoyed a wedding breakfast served by Ascaris, Hereford. The following a unique first dance from the bride and groom, the band then kept the dance floor full until the end.

The wedding of Georgie and Rich took place at St Michael and All Angels Church, Kingsland, Herefordshire. All the guests then enjoyed the short walk to the village hall where they were served ice cream by Turners Traditional and Pimms. The bride wore an Essense of Australia chiffon gown from White Minx Bridal Boutique, Hereford, while the groomsmen looked smart in their suits from Bill Childs Formal Wear. Later into the evening the guests were entertained by Wayne Savage Caricaturist and DJ Shaun Toole from Tenbury Wells.

Venue: St Davids Church, Maes Mynis followed by a reception at Llangoed Hall, Llyswen, Brecon, Powys

Venue: St. Anna's Church, Thornbury followed by a reception at Homme House, Much Marcle, Herefordshire

Rachel and Andrew
Venue: Caradoc Court, Sellack, Ross on Wye, Herefordshire
The First wedding for me at Caradoc Court and what a great venue, very relaxed, social and plenty of great well looked after gardens for all to enjoy. I think the house lends itself very well to a large group yet everyone can still mingle around and not get stuck in any particular room.  The staff and owners where excellent and very very hospitable!!

The village hall at Garway, Herefodshire beckoned, due to the weather having taken a turn for the worse, raining properly there was no chance of managing the original plan to hold the joint 60th birthday and pre wedding dance on the grass.
The atmosphere was certainly not dampened as things got under way without the usual, "need another drink and then, maybe" no time for that it was a ball from the first dance, sorry. I know.

Weddings covered
in Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Powys, Wales, Monmouthshire, The Cotswolds, Bristol, Birmingham and across the Uk and Abroad.

Claire and Ed Hope Mansell Herefordshire

Looking out of the window on Saturday I thought this has to be one of the most perfect days this year, the blossom although late was just about out the leaves too and the sun shone. Until I stepped outside into the coldest wind from the west I have experienced since February.

The Church is the prettiest I have been in for some time, tiny and very cosy, especially with the full wedding party, which with some extra chairs did fit in comfortably. A half day for me so no evening shots, a rarity these days.

Just the groups  and couple shots out of the wind and a few at the church from the view point and then we will be in time for them to sit. Well? All went to plan as they mingled in the delightful sun with a glass of bubbly, after a little time for a good chat I arranged them all for the group shot, in there own orchard, and the rain came, only light ish!!  (you will see everyone sheltering below) a 20 min break was needed so some time for Claire to to and warm up, I was sure I was about to freeze her to death as we whizzed through their pictures up the Hill round the church and back the wind seemed relentless even with my suit jacket firmly done up it was all a bitterly cold.

The pictures came out as if on a bright sunny day so they did a great job and apparently Claire warmed up and had a cracking wedding party.
